Attorney Biography

Colleen M. Howard is an Associate with Pierce Davis & Perritano, LLP.

Ms. Howard’s practice focuses on litigation defending cities, towns, and other public employers against claims of civil rights violations, wrongful death, negligence premises liability, and personal injury actions.  Her experience encompasses various phases of litigation and trial preparation, including discovery, motion practice.

Prior to joining the firm as an attorney, Ms. Howard experience as a paralegal and law clerk.  While working as a paralegal, Ms. Howard volunteered for the Volunteer Legal Clinic in connection with Community Action Partnership of Hennepin County in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  In addition, Ms. Howard worked in legal research, analyzing state and federal statutes and case law for use by national firms.

Ms. Howard received her Juris Doctorate from New England Law Boston in 2021.  While in law school, Ms. Howard worked for the firm as a law clerk, where she drafted pleadings, analyzed client records, and conducted legal research.  Ms. Howard obtained a Paralegal Certificate in 2015 from North Hennepin Community college, where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

Prior to beginning her legal career, Ms. Howard worked in retail management and volunteered for Kaboom, building children’s playground in lower income communities in Minnesota and North Dakota.
