Joel F. Pierce
Joel F. Pierce retired as a partner from Pierce Davis & Perritano LLP in June 2018 after more than four decades of practicing law. He now serves as of counsel to PDP, working on selected research projects.Mr. Pierce began practicing law in 1976 with the Boston firm of Morrison, Mahoney & Miller, where he became a senior partner. In 1998, he joined John Davis, Judith Perritano, and the Honorable Elizabeth Fahey in founding Pierce, Davis, Fahey & Perritano LLP, now Pierce Davis & Perritano.
John J. Davis
John J. Davis is a Partner with Pierce Davis & Perritano LLP. He is head of the firm’s Governmental Liability and Civil Rights Practice Group. His primary practice focuses on the defense of cities, towns, and other public employers in suits alleging civil rights violations, discrimination, harassment, negligence, and educators’ and school board liability.
John J. Cloherty III
John J. Cloherty III is a Partner at Pierce Davis & Perritano LLP. His practice is focused on litigation and trial advocacy in defense of individuals, corporations, and governmental subdivisions and agencies in federal court and in the state courts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
David C. Hunter III
David C. Hunter is a Partner with Pierce Davis & Perritano LLP. Mr. Hunter has successfully tried cases to verdict in both Superior and District Courts throughout Massachusetts. In addition, as a practical advocate, he has successfully worked with his clients to favorably obtain the desired result through mediation and other alternative resolution mechanisms.

Maria E. DeLuzio is a Partner at Pierce Davis & Perritano LLP. In her practice, Ms. DeLuzio has represented corporations, small businesses, individuals, municipalities, and a government authority in all phases of litigation in numerous courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.
