Meghan L. Riordan is an associate with Pierce Davis & Perritano, LLP, where her practice focuses on products liability cases and the defense of asbestos-related actions. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Riordan was an associate with a large Boston law firm, where her practice focused on general liability and insurance defense litigation, with a concentration on medical malpractice, premise liability, and products liability. 

Ms. Riordan began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Essex County. Ms. Riordan spent over four years prosecuting serious felony cases at the District Court and Superior Court level. Ms. Riordan was the supervisor of the District Attorney’s Domestic Violence Unit, and ultimately supervised the District Attorney’s office at a large and busy District Court.

Ms. Riordan has extensive trial experience, which was first cultivated in the District Attorney’s office and continued throughout her career in civil litigation. Ms. Riordan has tried a large number of cases, in addition to presenting cases to the grand jury for indictment. The cases she has tried range from civil contractual disputes to felony sexual assaults, child abuse, gun possession, drug distribution, and domestic violence. 

Ms. Riordan received her Juris Doctor from New England School of Law (cum laude, 2001), where she was the Executive Technical Editor New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement and recipient of the New England Scholar Award. Ms. Riordan received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Hampshire (magna cum laude) where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
